Troubleshooting Tips
If you are experiencing trouble launching the mapping system try these few steps:
1). In Internet Explorer open Tools then Internet Options.
2). Click on the Security tab and then select the Trusted Sites icon. Next, click on Sites, uncheck the Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone option, and type http://gis.co.crook.or.us in the Add this web site to the zone: box, lastly press Add.
3). In the Privacy tab click the Sites button and type http://gis.co.crook.or.us in the Address of web site: box and press Allow.
4). Finally, close your browser open it again and try to launch the GIS website.
5). Make sure that your internet security/firewall software has http://gis.co.crook.or.us/ listed as a trusted website. For software specific firewall settings see the links below:

6). YAHOO & GOOGLE TOOLBAR USERS - If you have either of these toolbars installed they come with a built in pop-up blocker that will stop our mapping system from loading. To fix the problem visit this link [http://www.disasterhelp.net/popupblockers/]
7). If you still cannot launch the website please make a note of the error message that appears, i.e. does it mention you need to use the correct launch page, do not have the proper credentials or are your privacy settings not allowing cookies? Once you have this information please call the GIS dept. at (541) 416-3930 for help.
