- Our catalog includes orthorectified* and non-rectified imagery.
* Orthorectification is the process where geometric distortions caused by the spherical nature of camera lenses as well as distortions resulting from elevation differences (i.e. the height the picture was taken at) are removed from imagery. The resulting images are spatially correlated to the surface of the earth and can easily be viewed in GIS software.
